How to Be a Dog Psychic
Travel Tips for a Happy Dog!

When you sign up for the upcoming Learn to Communicate with Your Pet Newsletter, I'll send you a free copy of my Top Ten Tips for Traveling with a Happy Dog. Just email me at Danika@HowtoBeaDogPsychic.com, and I'll email you a copy. (Rest assured that I'll never give your contact info to anyone else!) In the meantime, here are a few suggestions:

You know how disappointed that fuzzy face looks every time you leave the house without him or her--sometimes it's almost too much to bear! So if you want to relieve yourself of some of the guilt, look for ways to safely bring your pooch along whenever you can.

For more active dogs, you may want to check out the Dog Scouts of America. Yup, they actually have Dog Scout troops, a handbook, merit badges, and camps! But most of all, it's about having a good time with your dog. They have an extensive website with information about training techniques, dog sports and other activities, and of course, how to start your own Dog Scout troop. Check them out by clicking on their name.

For dog loving campers, there's Four Paws Kingdom in Rutherfordton, NC, "the only campground in America just for dogs and their owners." At Four Paws, you'll have lots to do: there's a dog pond, two fenced dog parks, miles of trails, a competition-size agility course, a Rally-O obedience ring, and tons of dog-related activities throughout the season. Visit them by clicking their name.

You'll want to make sure that your pup is safe when you travel, so think ahead. Before you go anywhere, think about car safety, whether you use a safety harness or seat, or an anchored crate. A dog riding loose in the car becomes a projectile in an accident, just as a child would--and it's just as lethal. Please protect your loved ones' lives with proper safety precautions!
